What Is Anemia?

Anemia is one of the most common hematological diseases that affects children, adults, and seniors. Statistically, this condition occurs more often in women. It is due to women losing blood during menstruation, a higher risk of anemia during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and lower iron stores in the body than men.
