What is Multiple Myeloma?

Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer that occurs due to the growth and multiplication of plasma cells in a person's immune system, which is the defense mechanism of the whole human body. The bone marrow produces plasma cells. They are white blood cells, and their base function is to create antibodies. They help the patient fight the infection.
