What is Throat Cancer? 

Throat cancer is a tumour that develops in the mouth, throat, larynx, or tonsils. Depending on the region of the throat involved, the cancer may be classified as oropharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, or head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC). These are most often squamous cell carcinomas, as these areas are made up of epithelial cells.
